Take Your Development Project off the Shelf with ECORASTER®

The Low Environmental Impact Development and Stormwater Management Solution

“The Problem” defined ...
The ground plays an important role in the natural cycle of water. With concrete and other non pervious surfaces the natural cycle of water is interrupted which destroys the grounds natural filtration functions.
For new developments, stormwater managements has been taking on an increasingly large economic function causing developers and city planners to make tough decisions of allowing even more unfiltered storm water to be dumped in our lakes and streams or limit development.
In these economic times we need these jobs and development but can no longer afford the financial costs and environmental impact of these developments and projects.

The Solution ...
ECORASTER® can be used to incorporate low environmental impact features into your designs. Using ECORASTER® on the ground and roof of your project prevents the creation of Stormwater Runoff at its source, and when Stormwater Runoff is prevented (by utilizing state-of-the-science Infiltration-Based SWR-Mgt. technologies), no SWR mitigation is required.
While infiltration-based SWR-Management technologies reduces the environmental compliance and construction costs off any new development, still the extremely durable and long-lifed ECORASTER is perfectly compatible with nature.
Using the Showshoe Effect, ECORASTER® disperses surface traffic weight (up to 22.45 tons / vehicle axle, per DIN 1072:1985, public roads and bridges) over a greater surface area. This prevents soil compaction, preserving the earth's natural filtration system.
ECORASTER allows rainfall to percolate directly into the soil, instead of carrying nonpoint source pollutants into our rivers, lakes and streams - as conventional does.
By correctly incorporating  ECORASTER® into your project, you may also divert Stormwater Runoff from adjacent impervious areas onto your parking lot or roadways, where they serve double-duty as your LID, BSD Stormwater Runoff Plan (Low Impact Development, Better Site Design).
Your parking areas and green roofs now function as the SWR-Mitigation, Management and Infiltration assets in your entire site's overall SWR-Mgt-Plan.
